Location
The White chalet is situated in the picturesque village of Argentiere, half way up the Chamonix valley. Only two minutes walk from the centre of Argentiere, but hidden away at the end of a quiet lane, the chalet backs onto woodland and has spectacular views of the Grand Montets and the Mont Blanc Massif.
The chalet is only 5 minutes walk from the Grand Montets mountain resort and is situated at the start of the Balcon Sud, one of the popular trails into Chamonix.

Argentiere is a small but busy village, with several bars and restaurants, 5 equipment shops, and a train station for those wishing to get the train into Chamonix or over the pass to Vallorcine and Switzerland. There is a also a bus which runs up and down the valley and stops just at the end of the lane.

There is parking space for 4 cars directly in front of the chalet.
How to get to The White Chalet.
Flying
The nearest airport to Chamonix is Geneva Airport. We recommend Easy jet for a budget price and Easyjet flies from Liverpool, Stanstead, Luton, Gatwick and East Midlands.
By car from Geneva Airport.
Follow directions for France as you leave the airport. Go straight ahead at the first two sets of traffic lights then move into the RH lane as you follow directions left. After customs follow signs for Chamonix Mont Blanc along the Autoroute Blanc.
Directions from Chamonix
As you arrive into Chamonix you cross the Montenvers railway line before you come to a large roundabout. Take the first right and follow this for approx 8 km (you cross another roundabout after about 3km). In Argentiere continue until you go underneath a railway bridge. Immediately after the bridge take a sharp left (almost a U turn) as if you are turning into a car park for a large white apartment building called the Cristal Apartments. There is a lane which runs along in front of this apartment building in front of a ski hire shop called Ski Set. Follow this lane to the end, we are the last chalet.
Transfers from Geneva Airport
If you would like to book a transfer from the airport to the chalet and back again, please email us us or call us with your flight details - flight number and time of arrival and departure and your mobile number. Transfers can be booked for anytime of the day if booked before 7 days of your arrival/departure date. We use a variety of transfer companies and charge a cover cost of £68.00 return. For a group of up to 8 the price for a one way transfer is £155.00.

Arrival and Departure Times at the Chalet
You may arrive and depart from the chalet at any time on your arrival/departure days. On your arrival day your room will be available from 3pm and you must vacate your room by 10.30am on the morning of your departure. If you are arriving or departing before these times, you are welcome to stay in the chalet and bags may be left in the foyer.
